The Children Are Our Future

  With the introduction of the International Children's Day on June 1, 1950, numerous communist and post-communist nations followed suit, with India and Uruguay issuing a joint resolution in 1954. On November 20, 1989, the Philippines became the first country to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. "Children's Day" had already been observed over the globe. The purpose of this one-month initiative is to give Filipino children access to a safe environment, a quality education, and healthcare. Helping children who have experienced abuse, suffering, natural catastrophes, and violence is another goal of National Children's Month. The youngsters in this third-world country suffer the most because the majority of families struggle financially. The emphasis this month is on the ways in which we may help and support them. Time sure does fly, huh? Halfway through the first quarter, many positive and negative events occurred. Since I had been accustomed to modular learning for two years, entering an entirely new learning environment, felt strange.  I've discovered that in-person learning helps me learn learning material more effectively. Even so, I had many difficulties as I was now learning in person. I found that the increased workload was intolerable and that it was difficult to manage my time when I had homework, three quizzes to prepare for, and additional projects to complete the following day. Considering how much effort you must put forth in school, getting 8 hours of sleep each night is a miracle. I tried to overcome these obstacles by doing what I could. I realized that I cannot always be perfect. As a result, I no longer grieve losses as keenly and accept whatever comes my way. Moving on, I will try to be optimistic and act quickly and without hesitation. I'll work to better myself and ...
