The golden throne

The modern presidency is challenging due to the shifting balance of power and the expanding range of duties. Some even contend that one person cannot manage it all, so it's clear that being a president is no easy job and should be taken seriously and passionately.

The moment you, dear sir, claim the position of president in my country, I hope to see change. I hope to see improvement. I hope to see the citizens of the Philippines thrive under your guidance. I expect to see nothing less from you than what they see in you. You took on the position with millions believing in your capabilities, dear sir. Do not fail the millions of people who went far and wide to support you. Do not fail the Philippines, the country you decided to rule.

As president, I would like to inform you of problems I wish to be solved under your reign. Poverty and giving opportunities to citizens' underclass can help out our country. Creating available jobs can let them acquire money to sustain their-selves and their family. Our nation has long struggled with corruption, so please devise a way to punish those who steal from their own country. And lastly, I want our country to progress. Other countries have moved immensely over the years, but we here in the Philippines are still a 3rd world country.

This quarter was.....a struggle to say the least. I knew life ain't cupcakes and rainbows but nothing could've prepared me for the reality check this quarter was cooking up for me. Reality struck me so hard across the face, that till this day i'm still on the floor. When I reflect on everything that transpired this quarter, I wonder how unlucky I had to be for it all to occur so quickly. I've never been under as much stress over so many different things. I was so stressed out that I was unable to cope with additional forms of stress. The waves lapping at the shoreline are a metaphor for my problems; they wet my feet, get sand under my toe nails, and make them feel wrinkled. To put it another way, they make me feel very depressed aka big sad. I do, however, have the ability to not feel overly depressed by simply making the best of the situation. Longganisa Festival!

The Longganisa Festival is typically observed in Vigan City on January 22 of every year, just a few days before the Vigan City Fiesta on January 25. If I were to describe the beauty of the Festival Its beauty isn't just found in the glamorous performances of the contestants. Nor the efforts of the program directors to provide a good show for all. But I also think that the people assembling to watch this magnificent show adds to its beauty. to buy locally produced food and to support the contenders. It is encouraging to see people coming together to celebrate a festival that has been going on for a long time. Because of our collective fear of contracting the pandemic, none of us were able to fully enjoy the festival. The Great Week

One of the most important religious occasions in the Philippines is Holy Week. It is known as the Great Week in the Greek and Roman liturgical texts because God performed great deeds during this week.During this seven-day festival, Filipinos have the chance to ponder their faith, remember Jesus Christ's death, and show their devotion through a variety of customs and practices. Beginning on Palm Sunday, which celebrates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, Holy Week in the Philippines officially begins. Filipinos attend mass on this day and are given palm fronds as a memento of the event.
